We are seeking an Air Quality Consultant to join our growing Environment, Assessment and Planning team in Sydney . With a strong pipeline of work, you will be working closely with our key clients to deliver on a variety of exciting projects.

What will you do in the role?

  • Preparation of studies relating to air quality impacts from industrial operations, transport infrastructure, mining, water, and waste industries.
  • Use data analysis and modelling techniques to assess meteorological conditions, and dispersion of air pollutants within the environment. Modelling will be carried out using models including WRF, CALPUFF, AERMOD and GRAL.
  • Potential to conduct site inspections and conduct air quality monitoring activities across NSW and Australia.
  • Prepare technical reports and writing of tenders & proposals.
  • Work closely with the broader team of air quality professionals from our Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and New Zealand offices.

We’re looking for individuals who:

  • Are passionate about the health of our environment, with an interest in working in the field in air quality and atmospheric sciences
  • Have a degree in Engineering or Science, or other suitably appropriate discipline Have strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with any of the following is desirable: Python, R, Matlab
  • Experience handling spatial data with GIS program (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS) is desirable.
  • Ideally 3 to 10 years post-graduate experience
